The Senior Adult Ministry seeks to glorify God as we continue to reach the senior adults of the Lehigh Valley, to enhance their lives, encourage them to grow in the Lord, and to challenge them to serve the Lord with all their heart, mind, soul and strength.The goal of our Senior Adult Ministry is to insure that every Senior Adult has a place of ministry and service as long as they live. No matter what limitations: physically, financially, or emotionally, we believe our Senior Adults can and should participate in activities that are designed for service for the Lord. The goals for Senior Adult Ministry at FBC are: to show love and concern to our Senior Adults, to give them an opportunity to use their God-given abilities in service, to provide opportunities for Christian fellowship, and to provide opportunities for a deeper understanding and the assurance of God’s continuing love and care. We believe that there is a purpose in all of life. It is our belief that the Bible does not teach that a person should retire from life. Although many Senior Adults do retire from public work, we believe that God expects us to continue to serve Him with the spiritual gifts and talents He has given us.
