Small Group involvement is a great way to meet people, make friends, and grow in your faith. Each group is made up of twice a month for fellowship, Bible study and prayer, either at church or in homes across the city. Groups are encouraged to plan times for relationship building (e.g., going out to dinner) and for serving as a team. The Small Group ministry of FBC supports our church vision statement, by connection people together and fostering growing relationships. Small groups meet regularly in a non-church setting to help us pursue this goal on a very personal and practical level. Participants are given the opportunity to use their spiritual gifts to build up the body of Christ. It is crucial that all Christians have a place where they can get to know other believers on a deeper level and exercise their spiritual gifts with one another. Participating in small groups allows us to form meaningful relationships with others as we worship, study God’s word, share, and pray for each other. In small groups we are able to carry one another’s burdens. We are able to hear others and be heard.
Groups meet throughout the month at various times and places. We would love to have you join us. Check in on the church website for upcoming events, or contact the church office for ways to get involved.
